Our Department was fırst established as Physics Engineering in 1977. It became Physics Department in 1983. The department offers physics courses for B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees. Our program enables the students to attain a basic background in all areas of physics. Presently in our department, research is in progress in many theoretical and experimental topics of Atomic and Molecular Physics, Solid State Physics, High Energy and Plasma Physics, Nuclear and General Physics.
