Module Contents

The micro-flora and identification of animal source food. Detection and enumeration, identification methods, culture methods, biochemical, serologic, and molecular laboratory methods.

Aims and Objectives of the module

To know microbial species present in foods and their significance for industry, public health and food hygiene. To learn principles of microbiologic analyzing methods of food samples
