Module Contents

During the course General information about premedical drugs and sedatives that are used on Reptiles, Aves, Ruminants, Equidae, Carnivores, Marine Animals, Lab Animals, Wild Animals before anaesthetizing them either generally or locally will be given and operations will be performed on animals available.

Aims and Objectives of the module

We aimed to give general information on analgesics, sedatives, and pre-anaesthetics and resultant effects of these drugs on animals, to give general information on analgesics, sedatives, and pre-anaesthetics and resultant effects of these drugs on animals, to teach the ways of delivering these drugs to animals depending on their species, and to put what is learned into practice by performing operations on animals, if necessary.
