Module Contents

Male and female reproductive tract, reproductive endocrinology, development of follicles, oogenesis, ovulation, structure of sperm, components of seminal plasma, collection, evaluation, dilution and freezing of semen, migration of sperm through female reproductive tract, artificial insemination, and fertilization in poultry.

Aims and Objectives of the module

To train expert member and academic personnel who will contribute to the production by collecting the semen with appropriate method, examining this semen, using fresh and frozen semen for artificial insemination, and consequently acquiring the being broody eggs and chicks.
