Module Contents

Morphology of male and female reproductive tracts, puberty and first insemination weight, collection and evaluation of semen, copulation season and behaviours, reproductive disorders, oestrus cycle, vaginal cytology, ovulation, artificial insemination, fertilization and pregnancy.

Aims and Objectives of the module

To train expert academician who know morphology of reproductive tracts of laboratory animals (Rat, Hamster, Guinea Pig and Rabbit), puberty, semen collection methods, characteristics of semen, oestrus cycle and behaviours, vaginal cytology, and methods of artificial insemination.
