CV

Mehmet Karakose was born in 1976 in Elazig. He received BS degree from Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of Firat University in 1998. He received MS and PhD degrees from Computer Engineering Department and Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department in 2001 and 2005, respectively. During 1999-2005 he was a research assistant at Computer Engineering Department, during 2005-2014 he was a Assistant Proffesor Doctor at Computer Engineering Department, and from 2014 to now he worked as Assoc.Prof.Dr. at the Computer Engineering Department in same university. His research interests are intelligent systems, fuzzy systems, simulation and modeling, computational intelligence, fault diagnosis, optimization algorithms, computer vision, image processing, machine vision, brain computer interaction, railway systems and signal processing. He is a Senior Member of IEEE. He has authored or coauthored many papers that have appeared in various journals and conference proceedings and he finished many TUBITAK projects. He is a lecturer for many courses such as Automata Theory, Algorithm Analysis, Compiler Design, System Theory, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Intelligence, Computational Theory, and Human Computer Interaction in Computer Engineering Department.

He received MS and PhD degrees from Computer Engineering Department and Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department in 2001 and 2005, respectively. During 1999-2005 he was a research assistant at Computer Engineering Department, during 2005-2014 he was a Assistant Proffesor Doctor at Computer Engineering Department, and from 2014 to now he worked as Assoc.Prof.Dr. at the Computer Engineering Department in same university. His research interests are intelligent systems, fuzzy systems, simulation and modeling, computational intelligence, fault diagnosis, optimization algorithms, computer vision, image processing, machine vision, brain computer interaction, railway systems and signal processing. He is a Senior Member of IEEE. He has authored or coauthored many papers that have appeared in various journals and conference proceedings and he finished many TUBITAK projects. He is a lecturer for many courses such as Automata Theory, Algorithm Analysis, Compiler Design, System Theory, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Intelligence, Computational Theory, and Human Computer Interaction in Computer Engineering Department.

During 1999-2005 he was a research assistant at Computer Engineering Department, during 2005-2014 he was a Assistant Proffesor Doctor at Computer Engineering Department, and from 2014 to now he worked as Assoc.Prof.Dr. at the Computer Engineering Department in same university. His research interests are intelligent systems, fuzzy systems, simulation and modeling, computational intelligence, fault diagnosis, optimization algorithms, computer vision, image processing, machine vision, brain computer interaction, railway systems and signal processing. He is a Senior Member of IEEE. He has authored or coauthored many papers that have appeared in various journals and conference proceedings and he finished many TUBITAK projects. He is a lecturer for many courses such as Automata Theory, Algorithm Analysis, Compiler Design, System Theory, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Intelligence, Computational Theory, and Human Computer Interaction in Computer Engineering Department.
